Make: automation, credits and reliable workflows
Make connects applications in visual scenarios. Evaluate a concrete process including failures, consumption and permissions.

Capabilities and use
Modules process data, routers branch flows and filters limit execution. AI agents add model-based decisions; explicit rules remain useful for deterministic steps. Check the actions and fields you actually need in an integration instead of relying on the app count.
Costs and access
Credits are the billing unit; operations describe executions. Many non-AI modules use one credit per operation, but AI and specialist modules can differ. With your own AI provider, you pay Make for operations and the provider separately for tokens; Make’s AI Provider can include both in credits. Include loops, data volume, polling and retries in your estimate.
Rights and data
The help center allows EU or US data-center selection when creating an organization; this cannot be changed later. It does not guarantee EU processing by connected apps or model providers. Review connections, logs, retention and permissions. Production workflows need approval before external sending, duplicate prevention and error handling.

- Document one process with inputs, outputs, owners and stopping conditions.
- Use test data for normal runs, missing fields, duplicate events and provider failures.
- Measure credits and separate token costs per successful result.
- Reduce permissions, set spending limits and test retries without duplicate business actions.
