Short answer: what is an AI stack?

An AI stack connects tools, data and work steps for a specific task. There is no fixed tool count. Extend existing systems only when a clearly identified gap remains.

McKinsey 2025: 88% of respondents reported regular AI use in at least one business function of their organization. Survey: 1,993 participants. A historical survey finding, not a census of all businesses or a project-return forecast.

When is a combination worthwhile?

Start with an output and clear acceptance criteria. First check whether an existing tool or simple workflow is sufficient. A combination makes sense when comparison shows better results or it adds a necessary capability.

Include subscriptions, API usage, integration, operations and human review. The overview lists cost components, not current price offers. Verify product access, plans and interfaces for the actual workflow.

Frequently asked questions about AI stacks

Does an AI stack need multiple AI models?

No. One model connected to existing business systems may be sufficient. Additional models add coordination and operating effort. Compare quality, rework, time and total cost with the simpler option.

How do you connect the tools?

Through available, permitted interfaces or deliberate manual handoffs. Check data formats, permissions, limits, error handling and duplicate actions. Self-hosting requires secure operation and does not replace a review of data flows.

What does KI-Agenten.shop provide?

We support selection, integration and pilots. Agree on scope, accountable owners, acceptance criteria, maintenance and support. A running process still needs monitoring, data upkeep and decisions on exceptions.

From use case to a tested workflow

Bring a specific process, existing tools and a measurable goal. Together we can determine whether integration, a small pilot or initial data work is the appropriate next step.
