Capabilities and use
Notion AI supports search, drafting, database work and meeting notes. The provider says it honors existing permissions, using only information the requesting user can already access. This does not make overshared documents confidential. Check source passages and outdated content explicitly.
Costs and access
Free and Plus offer limited AI trials; the Plus price does not buy the full AI feature set. Business and Enterprise include broader AI capabilities subject to usage limits. Custom Agents require additional Notion Credits. Compare seat charges, agent consumption, billing periods and actual account entitlements.
Rights and data
Notion and its AI subprocessors do not train on customer data by default. Help documentation states default zero retention with LLM providers for Enterprise, versus up to 30 days on other plans. Feature exceptions with admin settings and External Agents have separate rules. This does not mean Notion stores no data. Review web search, external connections and retention before sensitive work.
