Models and access
Mistral describes Vibe as the successor to Le Chat for work and coding; existing conversations, settings and plans carry over. Its catalog includes Medium 3.5, Small 4 and Large 3. A listed model is not necessarily the model behind every chat feature. For your own deployment, check the exact model license, hardware and maintenance.
Compare actual costs
The public USD pricing page lists Pro at USD 14.99 per month and Team at USD 24.99 per user/month, excluding taxes. Free access is limited; Enterprise is quoted individually. Check region, education discounts, included credits and overage before purchase. These prices do not establish that Mistral is cheaper than every competitor.
Data and permissions
A European headquarters does not provide blanket GDPR clearance. Vibe and API training settings are separate; the help center says Enterprise opts out by default. Zero Data Retention requires approval for supported stateless pay-as-you-go API calls and does not apply to Vibe Work/Chat. Check actual hosting, contract, retention, third parties and permissions.
