Check costs and data handling
Compare seats, character or usage limits, integrations and editorial rework. A dedicated tool is not automatically cheaper or better than an existing chat assistant. Before entering confidential material, check retention, training, deletion and contractual product scope. Translation, writing and API subscriptions can provide different services.
A comparable writing test
- Give all candidates one brief: audience, format, language, tone, approved facts and required terminology. Do not use confidential client data without appropriate approval.
- Use identical input and assess drafting, correction and rewriting separately. Define acceptance by factual accuracy, meaning, terminology and readability.
- Check every verifiable claim against its original source. Fluent wording, a citation or a plagiarism indicator does not replace editorial review.
- Record editing time, errors and cost per approved text. Assign publication approval and document the tested language and plan.
